Chat windows are for people. When you want AI to work on hundreds of records, inside a spreadsheet, a database or your own software, you use the provider's API. In this course you learn to call AI services from code safely: keys, costs, structured answers, and a Python script that processes a whole file.

Meet Basra Express Logistics
Basra Express Logistics is an example delivery company. Its customer team receives hundreds of WhatsApp and email messages a day in Arabic and English: "where is my parcel?", complaints, price questions, address changes. Huda, the customer service lead, wants every message sorted by type and urgency, with the tracking number pulled out, before the team starts work each morning.
- A computer with Windows or Mac where you can install programs.
- A Google account for Google AI Studio (free tier for practice).
- Postman (free desktop app or postman.com in the browser).
- Python 3.10 or newer (python.org). Lesson 6 shows the installation.
