Every oil site, factory, hospital and office depends on a store. When stock records are wrong, parts cannot be found, work stops, money is spent on emergency purchases and old stock piles up. This self-study course covers stores and warehouse management in eight practical lessons, from the receiving dock to the annual results.
You will follow Kawthar, the new warehouse manager of an oilfield supply company in Basra, as she takes a store with 82% record accuracy, 37 emergency purchases a quarter and 14% of its stock unmoved for a year. You will learn the objectives and types of stores, where stores fit in the organisation and why duties must be separated. You will receive and inspect deliveries, raise goods received notes, apply the three-way match and handle shortages, damage and quarantine. You will plan a store layout, choose storage methods and handling equipment, code locations and items, and stop duplicate stock. You will run ABC and XYZ analysis and calculate minimum, reorder point, maximum, statistical safety stock and the economic order quantity with worked examples. You will issue stock correctly, rotate it with FIFO and FEFO, keep stock and bin cards, and deal with returns and slow-moving stock. Finally you will plan cycle counts, measure inventory accuracy, track six warehouse KPIs, and manage racking, forklift, manual handling, hazardous materials and security risks.
The course includes 59 diagrams and charts, three narrated videos, practice templates in Word and Excel, knowledge checks in every lesson and a 25-question final exam.

ستتابع كوثر، المديرة الجديدة لمستودعات شركة تجهيز نفطية في البصرة، وهي تتسلم مخزناً دقة سجلاته 82% ويشهد 37 شراءً طارئاً في الربع و14% من مخزونه بلا حركة منذ سنة. ستتعلم أهداف المخازن وأنواعها وموقعها في الهيكل التنظيمي ولماذا يجب فصل المهام. وستستلم التوريدات وتفحصها وتنظم مذكرات الاستلام وتطبق المطابقة الثلاثية وتعالج النقص والتلف والعزل. وستخطط المخزن داخلياً وتختار طرق التخزين ومعدات المناولة وترمّز المواقع والأصناف وتمنع تكرار المخزون. وستجري تحليل ABC وXYZ وتحسب الحد الأدنى ونقطة إعادة الطلب والحد الأعلى ومخزون الأمان الإحصائي والكمية الاقتصادية للطلب بأمثلة محلولة. وستصرف المخزون بشكل صحيح وتدوّره وفق FIFO وFEFO وتحفظ بطاقات الأصناف والرفوف وتعالج المرتجعات والمخزون الراكد. وأخيراً ستخطط الجرد الدوري وتقيس دقة المخزون وتتابع ستة مؤشرات للمخازن وتدير مخاطر الرفوف والرافعات الشوكية والمناولة اليدوية والمواد الخطرة والأمن.
