AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot are now part of everyday office work. Used well, they save hours every week; used carelessly, they invent facts, leak confidential data and put reputations at risk. This comprehensive self-study course builds the practical skills every professional now needs to use AI effectively, safely and responsibly, with any tool.
The course is built around four skills of AI fluency, Delegation, Description, Discernment and Diligence, following the framework developed by Professors Rick Dakan and Joseph Feller. Across eight lessons you will follow a realistic case study: an engineering contractor in Basra serving oil-field clients, where the HR and administration manager leads the company's first AI programme for 68 office staff, from discovering widespread unapproved use, through a near miss in a technical specification, to an eight-week pilot with measured results. You will learn how large language models work, their strengths and limits, key terms, adoption trends and the research evidence on productivity, the "jagged frontier", automation, augmentation and agency, deciding what to delegate, task audits, the anatomy of a strong prompt, seven prompting techniques, prompting in Arabic and English, building a prompt library, six types of AI error, real public cases, risk-based checking, data classification and anonymisation, NIST generative AI risks, copyright, transparency, fairness and accountability, workflows for emails, document summaries, minutes, translation, reports and research, AI use policies, pilots, measurement and leading change. The course includes four narrated ISHTAR videos in English and Arabic, curated expert videos, 30 bilingual diagrams including animated ones, scenarios, practical exercises and knowledge checks, and ends with a 25-question final exam.

تقوم الدورة على أربع مهارات للطلاقة في الذكاء الاصطناعي: التفويض والوصف والتمييز والحرص، وفق الإطار الذي طوّره الأستاذان ريك داكان وجوزيف فيلر. وستتابع على مدى ثمانية دروس دراسة حالة واقعية لشركة مقاولات هندسية في البصرة تخدم عملاء الحقول النفطية، تقود فيها مديرة الموارد البشرية والإدارة أول برنامج للذكاء الاصطناعي لثمانية وستين موظفاً مكتبياً، من اكتشاف الاستخدام الواسع غير المعتمد، مروراً بحادثة وشيكة في مواصفات فنية، إلى تجربة مدتها ثمانية أسابيع بنتائج مقاسة. ستتعلم كيف تعمل النماذج اللغوية الكبيرة ونقاط قوتها وحدودها والمصطلحات الأساسية، واتجاهات التبني وأدلة الأبحاث على الإنتاجية، و"الحدود المتعرجة"، والأتمتة والتعزيز والوكالة، وتحديد ما يُفوَّض، وتدقيق المهام، وبنية الأمر النصي القوي، وسبعة أساليب لكتابة الأوامر، والعمل بالعربية والإنجليزية، وبناء مكتبة أوامر، وستة أنواع من أخطاء الذكاء الاصطناعي، وحالات عامة حقيقية، والمراجعة حسب المخاطر، وتصنيف البيانات وإخفاء الهوية، ومخاطر الذكاء التوليدي وفق NIST، وحقوق النشر والشفافية والعدالة والمساءلة، وسير العمل للرسائل وتلخيص الوثائق والمحاضر والترجمة والتقارير والبحث، وسياسات الاستخدام والتجارب والقياس وقيادة التغيير. وتتضمن الدورة أربعة فيديوهات من أكاديمية عشتار بصوت معلّق بالعربية والإنجليزية، ومقاطع مختارة لخبراء، و30 رسماً توضيحياً بلغتين منها رسوم متحركة، وسيناريوهات وتمارين عملية وأسئلة للتحقق من الفهم، وتنتهي باختبار نهائي من 25 سؤالاً.
